City-Studio City-Studio
SAT, 26 SEP 2015 TO WED, 30 SEP 2015

By Ngee Ann Polytechnic, National University of Singapore, Singapore Polytechnic, Singapore University of Technology and Design, with Singapore Institute of Architects

Design studios in architecture schools function as incubators for design solutions which respond to the issues of our built environment. Architecture students are confronted with crucial and relevant topics such as social, housing, environmental and urban issues in their course of studies and attempt to resolve them through innovative design solutions generated in the vigorous studio discussions.

City-Studio welcomes the public to have an insight into the process which produce architectural projects and discover how thoughtful design can solve future issues. The intellectual conversations and lively discussions which constitute the studio, will be relocated into the heart of the city.

Who should attend?

Students and aspiring architects, parents to find out what goes on in architecture school, anyone with an interest to experience the process of designing a building or space. And, anyone curious!
